Whole Hog Share

The average hanging weight of our pigs is 195-230 pounds, which comes out to about 150-190 pounds of meat. We offer custom cutting options for processing through Amery Meats, Amery, WI, including bratwursts, breakfast links, seasoned ground, and products smoked and cut to your liking.

$4.48 on the hanging weight plus (200 pounds +/-) plus processing (varies depending on your choices)

What do you normally get with a whole pig?

Approximately:

16# shoulder steak (sub ground product, or country style ribs or shoulder roast)

20# smoked ham (2 ten pound roasts) or half hams or ham steaks (or sub ground product) 

16# bacon

8# spare ribs

16# pork chops

36# plain ground or your choice of mild Italian, hot italian, breakfast sausage, links, or brats

4# smoked hocks 

10# lard (unrendered), optional

5# soup bones (smoked or unsmoked), optional

We ask for a $200 deposit to help offset the cost of paying the butcher up front.
